This project involved the design and installation of a large raised composite decking system for a modern detached coastal property, creating a seamless outdoor space across multiple levels.
Using Trex composite decking, we constructed an elevated deck that wraps around the property, providing direct access from the main living areas while making full use of the surrounding views. The installation includes glass balustrades throughout, maintaining uninterrupted sightlines and enhancing the clean, contemporary look of the home.
Due to the raised design, careful attention was given to the structural framework and support system, ensuring long-term stability and durability in an exposed coastal environment.
Composite decking is particularly well suited to projects like this, as it is resistant to moisture, fading and weathering, making it ideal for properties close to the sea.
The finished result is a spacious, low-maintenance outdoor area that complements the architecture of the property while significantly improving how the space is used.
